Mazzetta Company, LLC employs an inspector, stationed in Bangkok, Thailand, to oversee our operations in Asia. He is a retired Colonel with 23 years of service in the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps. His function is to perform random audits of the facilities and farms that supply our seafood to ensure that every plants’ social conditions are of the highest quality.
Additionally, we maintain a robust third-party social audit program. These audits ensure the absence of child labor, forced labor, human trafficking, harassment and abuse, unlawful working conditions, hours, wages and benefits, and guarantee worker's health and safety and freedom of association. Every plant and farm that produces our seafood must undergo and pass a third-party audit.
