SeaMazz® Whiting Headless & Dressed

Preparation:

SeaMazz® Whiting are best when cooked right out of the package while frozen. Do not over cook or refreeze.

Serving Suggestions:

Deep-fried Whiting:

Dip fish in to 1/2 cup of milk, season with salt and pepper. Then roll in 1/2 cup of flour until well-coated. Heat oil in deep fryer to 365° F and fry fish for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness, until golden and crisp.

Southern-style Pan-fried Whiting:

Beat 2 eggs lightly and add 2 Tbsp. milk season with salt and pepper. Dip fish in egg mixture, then roll in 1 1/2 cups cornmeal. Heat 1/4 inch oil in heavy skillet until hot, but not smoking. Add fish and fry over medium heat, browning one side, then the other. Cook about 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness.
